I buy Gamblin's poppy oil and cold-pressed linseed oil, they come in glass bottles with hard plastic lids. They remain surprisingly easy to open after use. I like 'em! :DUnfortunately this seems to no longer be correct. I went to buy a new bottle of Gamblin poppy oil, and it was in a plastic jar - with a child-proof lid of all things!
I buy this stuff regularly, I oilpaint, and it cleans my brushes extremely well and I also use it in a dropper bottle to thin down thickened oil paints on my pallette. No headaches from fumes, and when I use it for cleaning out my brushes, i put it in a can and allow the sediment to settle, then pour thru cheesecloth and its ready to use again.
