Extraction of Kiwifruit Seed (Actinidia Deliciosa) Oil
The kiwifruit seed oil, which is predominately constituted by α‐linolenic acid (ALA), was efficiently extracted using compressed propane with a maximum extraction yield in a short time of extraction.
Taken kiwi fruit as raw material, this paper extracted kiwi fruit seed oil with ultrasonic-assisted enzyme, researched the influence of factors such as liquid-to-solid ratio, granularity, type of enzyme, ultrasonic power, treating time, enzymolysis temperature, enzymolysis time, pH and enzyme additive on oil extraction, and optimized the extracting technology of kiwi fruit seed oil with
Extraction of kiwi seed oil: Soxhlet versus four different
Kiwi seed oil has a nutritionally interesting fatty acid profile, but a rather low oxidative stability, which requires careful extraction procedures and adequate packaging and storage. For these reasons and with the aim to achieve process intensification with shorter extraction time, lower energy consumption and higher yields, four different non-conventional techniques were experimented.
The kiwifruit seed oil, which is predominately constituted by α‐linolenic acid (ALA), was efficiently extracted using compressed propane with a maximum extraction yield in a short time of extraction. The mathematical model applied to represent the kinetics of extraction is based on three parameters with physical meaning and it may be easily and reliably used in modeling, design, simulation and optimization, as well as in the scale‐up of this extraction process.
Extraction of Kiwifruit Seed ( A ctinidia Deliciosa ) Oil
This study reports the extraction of kiwifruit seed oil using compressed propane as solvent and its modeling based on the Brunauer–ETmmett–Teller theory of adsorption. Temperature and pressure were the variables investigated on the kinetics of extraction. The overall extraction yields were compared with the Soxhlet extraction with n-hexane.
Uses of Kiwifruit Extract. The primary benefits of kiwifruit extract include support for the digestive function. This extract also helps to maintains healthy blood sugar levels, eye health and the immune system.

Before a company can use EWG VERIFIEDTM on such products, the company must show that it fully discloses the products' ingredients on their labels or packaging, they do not contain EWG ingredients of concern, and are made with good manufacturing practices, among other criteria.
Colouring agent (390 µl), Kiwi Seed Extract of different concentrations (25 µl), 25 µl of lipase (50 mg/ml) and esterase inhibitory agent (10 µl) was added in a test tube and heated in a thermostatic chamber at 30°C for 5 min in dark. A matrix solution (50 µl) was added for reaction at 30°C for 30 mins.

A process of producing kiwifruit seed oil involves first sterilizing the picked andselected ripe kiwifruit by flame, chlorine wash, or ozone impregnated water wash, followed by a fresh water rinse. The fruit is then cut using a water laser to minimizeseed damage. Next the skin is separated from the fruit. Then the pulp is gentlyseparated from the seed ensuring minimal seed coat damage.
ULTRASOUND-ASSISTED EXTRACTION OF OIL FROM KIWIFRUIT
The extraction technique investigated was found to be suitable for extraction of oil from kiwifruit seeds, in which the great potential of kiwifruit oil obtained from UAE was demonstrated Keywords Kiwifruit seed oil, kinetic model, ultrasound-assisted extraction, chemical characterization

(g/mL), the extraction rate of kiwi fruit seed oil is relatively high, and the oil extraction rate does not increase obviously if water is kept adding. Comprehensively consider the factors such as extraction rate and energy con-sumption, the best liquid-to-solid ratio of enzymolysis is around 1:10.

The key to extraction of the seed oil at an industrial scale is to ensure that the seeds are well ground, to expose as much of the available oil to the solvent , but not so finely ground that the seeds agglomerate and/or overheat, which can cause the oil to degrade. The seeds should be ground just prior to extraction, to minimize oxidation.
