Influence of enzymes on the oil extraction processes
The methods of oil aqueous extraction process (AEP) assisted by enzymes are, over the last 50 years, an alternative designed to replace traditional methods of extraction using organic solvents. To extract the oil using an AEP, the use of specific enzymes, able to hydrolyze some or all components of seeds, can significantly increase the yields of extraction.

METHODS USED FOR EXTRACTION OF MAIZE (ZEA MAYS,
Maize oil is high in polyunsaturated fat, which is a heart-healthy fat, and low in saturated fat. Extraction of oils from oilseeds is a key step for their commercialization. The extraction process has a direct effect on the quality and quantity of protein and oils obtained. Various methods like cold pressing, solvent, super-critical fluid and aqueous extractions are in practice for oilseed
GET PRICEEffect of Succinylation on Aqueous Enzyme-Assisted
In order to improve the total soybean oil rate and reduce the amount of emulsion in enzyme-assisted aqueous extraction, succinic anhydride was used to modify the protein in the enzymatic hydrolysis process. The amount of the enzyme, liquid to material ratio, additive amount of succinic anhydride, hydrolysis time and the influence of modification time on the total oil rate were studied in this
GET PRICEEnzyme-Assisted Extraction of Oil from Wet Microalgae
The enzyme-assisted aqueous extraction of oil from wet microalgae was employed to avoid the energy consumption of a dewatering process. In this paper, oil-rich microalgae Scenedesmus sp.
